Robin Bolden
Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Robin Bolden grew up in Southern California. After High School he moved to Waco, TX., where he attended and graduated from Baylor University.
In 1990, Robin moved back to Southern California and became a Deputy Sheriff for Los Angeles County. He served as a Deputy Sheriff for eight years, two of which were on the streets of South Central Los Angeles. In 1998, he left the department to pursue music full time.
In 1996 he received accolades for the “CD of the Year” with the Los Angeles Country Music Association. Since then his songs have been featured on airlines, documentaries, featured films, web casts, and more. He has opened for numerous well-known artists including Trisha Yearwood, Mark Wills, and Leanne Rimes.
In 2001, Robin left the secular music world and devoted himself exclusively to Christian music. His first offering, “In The Twinkling of an Eye,” has gained notoriety for its passion, spirituality, and celebration. His music brings to mind Christian contemporary superstars Third Day as a cross of rock, country, and Christian altenative.
Since 2002 He has served as an Intern-Pastor and Worship Leader at Horizon Park Chapel, San Diego, CA, and is currently the Director of Music and Assistant Pastor at Magnolia Church in Santee, CA. He is also completing his M.Div at Azusa Pacific University.
Robin’s appeal continues to grow exponentially through word of mouth. His concerts feature a rare passion of true worship coupled with excitement and celebration.
In the future, Robin hopes to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world via his music and exposition.
